Chapter Focus

As residents of New York City, it has become blatant that the public school system is exceedingly inequitable. This inequity manifests in distinct ways; from overcrowded classrooms to omitted subjects. Our goal as a chapter is to elevate disadvantaged students by providing them with access to a comprehensive curriculum surrounding often forsaken subjects in school: finance, computer science, and social issues. By providing exposure to these subjects, we aim to broaden the opportunities and experiences of students to underscore our belief that underserved students are not undeserving.

Projects

FINANCIAL LITERACY SEMINARS

Expose middle school students to financial literacy to better prepare them to handle money and wealth in the future. We construct this in a seminar-style format with biweekly classes. Sample lesson coming shortly!
